This is far from being the hot news, but it’s important nevertheless. The company behind the popular travel guides, Lonely Planet, is going iPhone, big time. Right from the start, they’ve launched not one but a series of their travel guides for the platform.
Feature wise, Lonely Planet’s apps support personalization, allowing users to mark places as favorites, as well as easily search through Lonely Planet’s famous content…
Interested? A total of 20 guides are readily available in the AppStore, and one costs $9.99 or $15.99, plus there are some free apps available as well. Simply search for “lonely planet” in iTunes and take it from there.
