Can’t get laid? Looking to get sexually assaulted? There was an App for that, but Apple pulled out
Exactly one month ago today I wrote about an application called “ Sex Offender ” for the Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL ) iPhone that would use the device’s built in GPS to show you where registered sex offenders are living. This application wasn’t free, which may have very well been the reason it was pulled . Under California law you’re not allowed to sell people’s personal information for private, even if that includes the location of sex offenders.

What could have been a fun little application for real estate agents to markup value property, lonely people looking to have a little promiscuous fun, and parents looking for which school to send their children off to, has now been taken from the App Store. How is Phil going to get out of this one?
