It’s like a social mobile karaoke game show. iSing from Island Labs is the next generation of music talent show where you can upload short samples where you sing your favorite lyrics and also vote on other contestants right from your iPhone or iPod touch!

Sing into your iPhone for 30 seconds, take a picture of yourself, and tap in a message to the world. That’s it — you’re entered! Not blessed with musical talent? No problem! There’s no need to enter if you don’t feel like it. iSing lets you be the audience and judge for all the people entered. You can listen to recordings and vote thumbs up or down in this worldwide challenge to see who has the most fans. Tap on any image to see a full sized photo or search for singers by name or by location.

iSing is a fun and clever app for anyone with an iPhone who is a fan of Karaoke, or shows like American Idol. Keep in mind, that you are allowed only one entry per month. So make your first one a good one! If you want to sing additional songs in a month, you can for an additional 99 cents fee. The app works very smoothly. Only minor gripe we had was that there is a small lag in time as recordings are streamed to your iPhone the first time you tap to listen, and this should hopefully be an easy fix in future releases.

iSing is a first of its kind in integrating talent from around the world on a simple and easy to use app that is fun and rewarding for both audiences and artists alike.
